1. Data Collection & Processing
NeuralLens is built with privacy in mind. Unless you choose to use third-party online AI engines, all text translation and screen OCR processes are performed locally and offline on your Mac. We do not collect, store, or upload any of your input text, screenshots, or translation history.
2. Third-Party Services
When you configure and use third-party translation providers (e.g. OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, DeepL), your text data is sent directly to those respective service providers. The use of this data is subject to the privacy policies of those providers. Please keep your personal API keys secure.
3. Local Storage
All your preferences, custom API keys, and translation history are stored securely in your local SQLite database and configuration files. We do not offer default cloud storage, and your data remains entirely under your control.
